I find I have zero interest left in the OpenSim community and none really in Kitely worlds, which seem stale, empty and run by very nice people. I’ve deleted my Kitely worlds and canceled my subscription. Items remain available on my Kitely store (the few I managed to finish before burning out.)

(The folks who run Kitely might be very nice, but they are still citizens of a country committing craven acts of genocide. I will not do business with Israel or anyone in it until that state gives up its murderous need to eradicate Palestinian women and children from the face of the earth.

Never again. Not TO them. Not BY them.

Never Genocide.

Never.)

There’s no there there, and I have no desire to log into OpenSim. This ends my involvement with OpenSim and Second Life-based simulators probably forever.

The time has come and gone. And gone. And gone.

I have new things to do.

Also, I’m not spending $300 a year to maintain a basic wordpress site (Avoid Bluehost like the plague).

I’ll pay the fee to hold onto my domain name, and I’ll keep my shoutcast stream running occasionally with music (licensed as far as I know properly through Beatport).

But I’m done. I’m old and I’m tired, and there are things out there that still make me feel alive and engaged.

OpenSim and Second Life no longer count among them.

I wish you well.
