Let me tell you from personal experience that the “beneficiaries” of so-called special needs trusts are victims of a system that routinely denies them legal access, representation, or even decision-making in their own lives.

Special Needs Trusts typically do everything that they can to divorce a “beneficiary” from their trusts, from lying in court to denying basic needs like housing and shelter.

The trustees don’t think of their beneficiaries as actual people; just bumps on the road to increasing their personal wealth.

If you know someone who has created a special needs trust for a family member or loved one, then you know someone who HATES that family member.

No one cares what happens to these people. Not one. Not the trustees. Not the family members. And certainly not the injustice system.

I’ll warn you off two fiduciary companies that absolutely treat the mentally ill and developmentally disabled like crap, and then go to court to destroy those people in order to keep the money.
